How do I play?

Tiles slide down the fretboard. Tap a lane as its tile crosses the glowing line. Perfect timing scores more and keeps your combo going. Fill the meter at the top and the theme’s mascot swoops in for double points and an extra life.

It feels too hard or too easy

Pick Easy, Normal or Hard on the main menu. Each round speeds up a little, so the early rounds are the best place to learn a song.

How do I change the theme or song?

Use the ‹ › arrows on the menu to change the song. Tap the gear icon to pick a theme. Auto switches with the seasons (Halloween in October). Winter Wonderland arrives in December.

There’s no sound

Check that Sound is on in the app’s Settings and that your device volume is up. On iPhone, also check that the ring/silent switch isn’t set to silent.

How do bonus lives from sharing work?

After a run, tap Share score and send it anywhere. A completed share adds one bonus life to your next run (up to three times a day).

About the ads

Colorful Tiles is free and supported by ads. You’ll see a banner on the menu, an occasional full-screen ad between runs (never during a song), and an optional video you can watch to revive. You can change your ad privacy choices from Privacy settings in the app. See our Privacy Policy.

I bought “Remove ads” in the old version

Version 2.0 is a free, ad-supported rebuild of Touch The Colorful Tile and doesn’t include the old purchase. Contact us and we’ll help.
