Privacy Policy

Colorful Tiles (“the app”) is made by NextGen Software LLC (“we”). This policy explains what data the app and this website handle. The short version: we don’t ask you to create an account, we don’t collect your name, email or contacts, and your scores stay on your device. The app is free because it shows ads, and those ads are served by Google AdMob.

What stays on your device

Your best scores, chosen theme, song and difficulty, sound and vibration settings, and bonus lives earned by sharing are stored only on your device. We don’t receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to show banner, full-screen and optional rewarded video ads. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process data from your device, including:

• your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), if you allow it;
• IP address and approximate location derived from it;
• device and app information (model, operating system, app version, language);
• ad interactions (which ads were shown or tapped) and diagnostic data such as crashes and performance.

Google’s use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices

• iPhone and iPad: the app asks for permission before using your advertising identifier (App Tracking Transparency). You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
• EEA, UK and Switzerland, and US states with privacy laws: the app shows Google’s consent form on first launch. You can change your choice anytime from Privacy settings in the app’s Settings.
• If you decline personalized ads, you’ll still see ads, but they won’t be based on your activity in other apps.

Sharing your score

When you tap Share score, the app creates an image of your score and opens your device’s share sheet. Nothing is shared unless you pick an app and send it. Shared links point to this website, which shows your score from the numbers in the link (score, combo, round, difficulty and theme). No personal information is included.

This website

This site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to run and secure the service. We don’t use cookies for tracking or advertising on this site.

Children

The app is intended for a general audience and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we’ll help remove it.

Data requests

Because we don’t hold personal data about you, most requests are best handled by resetting your advertising identifier (above) or contacting Google about ad data. You can still reach us for any privacy question.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
